1. What is LED display?
LED display is a flat panel display, which is composed of light points with a certain spacing and a certain specification, and each light point is composed of a single LED light-emitting tube. It uses light-emitting diodes as display elements, and is used to display various information such as text, graphics, images, animations, quotes, videos, and video signals by controlling the display mode of semiconductor light-emitting diodes. LED displays are usually divided into stroke displays and character displays, such as digital tubes, symbol tubes, meter tubes, matrix tubes, level display tubes, and so on.
2.The working principle of LED display
The working principle of LED display is to use the characteristics of light-emitting diodes to form an array of LED devices through a certain control method, so as to form a display screen. Each LED represents a pixel, and the LEDs in the LED display are organized into different columns and rows to form a grid-like structure. When specific content is to be displayed, by controlling the brightness and color of each LED, the desired image or text can be created. Controlling the brightness and color of LEDs can be done through digital signals. The control system of the display will send the corresponding LEDs to control their brightness and color according to the input digital signal. In order to achieve high brightness and clear display effect, LED displays usually use PWM (pulse width modulation) technology, that is, by constantly switching the on-off state of the LED to control the change of display brightness. LED display can also use full-color LED technology, that is, three different colors of red, green, and blue LEDs are combined together, which can display colorful images through different brightness and color combinations.
3.The composition of the LED display
The LED display is mainly composed of the following parts:
LED unit board: This is one of the core components of LED display, which is composed of LED module, driver chip and PCB circuit board.
Control card: used to control the LED unit board, it can control the 256x16 point two-color screen of 1/16 scan, and can assemble the LED screen with cost advantages.
Cables: including data cables, transmission cables, and power cables. The data cable is used to connect the control card and the LED unit board, the transmission cable is used to connect the control card and the computer, and the power cable is used to connect the power supply and the control card and the LED unit board.
Power supply: Generally, a switching power supply is used, with 220V input and 5V DC output.
In addition, depending on the use environment, the LED display may also include other accessories and equipment, such as front panels, cabinets, protective covers, etc.

Two-color LED display: red and green two primary colors, which can display red, green, mixed color (yellow).
Full-color LED display: red, green, blue three primary colors, 256 levels of gray full-color display, can display more than 160,000 colors.
Categorized by display effect:
LED monochrome display: a display composed of a single color, the display content is generally a relatively simple text or pattern.
LED Dual Primary Color Display: A display composed of 2 colors.

Classification by use environment:
Indoor LED display: LED display suitable for use in indoor environment.
Outdoor LED display: LED display suitable for use in outdoor environment, generally requires waterproof, dustproof and other measures.
Classification by display area:
Small pitch LED display: suitable for smaller pitch LED display, usually below P2.
Large pitch LED display: suitable for larger pitch LED display, usually above P2.
Classification by special features:
LED rental display: a display screen that can be repeatedly disassembled and installed, the screen body is ultra-light, ultra-thin, space-saving, and can be spliced in any direction, size, and shape to present various visual effects.
LED small pitch screen: a kind of ultra-small pitch, high pixel density display.
LED transparent screen: also called grid screen, the LED display is made transparent.
LED creative display: special-shaped display with innovation and creativity as the core. The more common ones are LED cylindrical screens and spherical LED displays.
LED fixed display: a traditional conventional LED display, the screen size is consistent, the integrated molding is not deformed, and the error is small.
