As times progress, LED displays have become increasingly widespread, with more related products emerging. Differentiating between good and bad

large screens has become a challenging issue for many people.Let's take a look together today.

一.The flatness of the display surface

This is the most intuitive factor; both professional and non-professional customers can easily observe it with their eyes. The flatness of the display surface should be within ±1mm to ensure that displayed images do not become distorted. Local protrusions or depressions can cause dead spots in the viewing angles of LED displays. Additionally, during installation, it's crucial to ensure there are no gaps between modules. For P3 and smaller displays, this issue needs special attention during assembly or installation. If there are gaps between modules, a black line will be visible when playing video content.

二.Brightness

The brightness of indoor full-color screens should be above 800cd/m² to 1200cd/m², and currently, most LED chips can achieve this level. Of course, the brightness mainly depends on the quality of the LED chip. Generally speaking, the brightest LEDs come from Kingstar, followed by JingTai.

三.White Balance Effec

The white balance effect is one of the important indicators for display screens. Many non-professional sellers are not very familiar with this parameter.

In color theory, pure white is displayed when the ratio of red, green, and blue primary colors is 1:4.6:0.16. If there is even a slight deviation from this ratio, it can result in white balance errors. Typically, attention should be paid to whether the white has a tendency to lean towards blue or yellow-green.

White balance is usually adjusted before mass production through tuning color resistors.

The quality of white balance largely depends on the manufacturer's level of craftsmanship.

四.Color fidelity

Color fidelity refers to how accurately a display reproduces colors, ensuring that the colors shown match those of the source material closely. This guarantees the realism of the image.

五.Is there any dead center phenomenon?

Dead pixels refer to individual bright or dark spots on the display screen. The number of dead pixels mainly depends on the quality of the LEDs; using reel-pack genuine LEDs usually prevents large-scale dead pixel issues. Some dead pixels occur due to cold solder joints during the SMT process.

六.No color blocks

Color blocks refer to noticeable color differences between adjacent modules, with color transitions occurring on a module-by-module basis. The primary causes of color block issues include poor control systems, low grayscale levels, and low scanning frequencies. This problem is more pronounced in small-pitch LED displays.
